Welcome to the Henley & District Agricultural Association, a charity dedicated to promoting and improving agriculture, horticulture and the breeding and rearing of livestock. To enable us to achieve our objectives we organise various events throughout the year.

The 2008 Henley Show takes place on Saturday 13th September at Greenlands Farm, Hambleden RG9 3AS. The main attraction this year will be The Royal Signals Motorcycle Display Team – The White Helmets who will entertain the crowd in the Main Ring during the afternoon. Other attractions include:

  • Back by popular demand, the ever-popular “Sheep Show” – a fun and educational look at breeds of sheep with an emphasis on wool, with a lively commentary from Richard Savory. Demonstrations will take place throughout the day in the Village Green
  • Bird of Prey Displays by Jan Prymaka and the JRCS Falconry Display Team
  • The South Oxfordshire Army Cadets marching band
  • The “Food and Farming” Marquee – an educational interactive display and exhibition which aims to help children of all ages to learn more about how food is grown and produced and how it reaches the table. Come and try your hand at milking “Delilah” the wooden cow, and watch a cow being milked, learn about grains. There will be plenty to entertain and educate the whole family
  • The horse show takes place in four rings. Classes include the Henley Show Championship, Accumulator with Joker, Working Hunter and Mountain & Moorland and National Pony Society qualifiers, plus for the first time Side Saddle classes
